PTIS State Level Inter Polytechnic Youth Fest 2019-20

Setting the stage on fire with their vibrant and energetic performances, students of Chandigarh Polytechnic College, outshined at PTIS State level Inter Polytechnic Youth Fest 2019-20 held from 21st October – 23rd October at Govt. Polytechnic College, Patiala.

PTIS State Level Inter-Polytechnic Youth Festival is an annual congregation of polytechnic students. It aims at providing a platform to realize, nurture and harness their talent; dreams and aspirations at one end and on the other cling them to the roots of their motherland.

In the same context the events for the Youth Fest 2019 were Choreography, Shabd Gayan, essay writing and poster making; Folk Song, Giddha, Poetry and Rangoli on second day followed by Bhangra and solo dance on third day.

The Youth Fest was inaugurated by Chief Guest Hon’ble Parneet Kaur, Member of Parliament. The Chief Guest for closing ceremony and Prize distribution was, Hon'ble Sh. Charnjit Singh Channi, Cabinet Minister, Dept. of Technical Education and Industrial Training Govt. of Punjab, Around 30 Polytechnic Colleges participated in the Fest which included GPC Khunimajra, GPC Bathinda, CCET Chandigarh, GPC Amritsar, GNDP Ludhiana, Rayat Bahra Polytechnic College, GPC Patiala.

In Choreography, with tons of appreciation received from judges, our team bagged 1st position. With a beautiful classical performance by our student, CPC bagged 3rd position in solo dance. Continuing the legacy, our giddha team bagged 3rd position this year. Also, in poetry our student bagged 2nd position.

Our students gave thrilling performance and received a standing ovation from the judges. They were appreciated by Chief Guest and other dignitaries present.
