OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY CPC STUDENTS AT PTIS STATE LEVEL INTER-ZONAL SPORTS TOURNAMENT (BOYS AND GIRLS) 2017-18

CPC students outshined at PTIS State Level Inter-Zonal Sports Tournament 2017-18 held from 9th-10th March'18 at different Polytechnic Colleges in Punjab, by performing exuberantly well and winning prizes in different games.

Continuing the saga of winning, CPC students brought laurels by winning Gold (Boys) in Basket Ball Tournamentthrice in a row. The Basket Ball tournament for boys was hosted by GPC Batala from 9th -10th March. Our team played the league matches and won the first position.CPC played their first match on first day against Sai Polytechnic College, Badhani and won by a score of 34-30. They played their second match on first day against CCET Chandigarh and won by a score of 50-66. They played two matches the second day, first against GPC Bathinda and won by 63-50 and second match against CT Polytechnic College Jalandhar and won by 63-30 score. Their performance was outstanding in all the matches played and the team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament.

In Badminton (Boys), CPC won Silver (2nd position)The tournament was hosted by  GPC Khooni Majra. Our team played league matches against CCET Chandigarh, Government Polytechnic College Talwara and Mehr Chand Polytechnic College.

Volley Ball (Boys) won bronze (3rdPosition).The tournament was held at GPC Behram. The first match was a knockout with Thapar Polytechnic College, Patiala.They played league matches against GPC Khoonimajra, Sai Polytechnic College, Badhani, Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara.

In Football (Boys) won Bronze (Position). The tournament was held at Ramgarhia Polytechnic Phagwara. They played league matches against R&D Ludhiana, St. Soldier Jalandhar and Sai Polytechnic College Badhani.

Our Girls’ Kho-Kho team won Bronze (3rd position).The tournament was held at S.R.S GPCG Jalandhar. Our team played league matches against GPCG Ludhiana, GPCG Patiala and GPCG Amritsar. They won 3rd prize by winning with a score of 8-2 against GPCG Amritsar.
